This is a place not far from Marathon, Ontario. Very
little has been reported about it`s existance or purpose. It started out as a logging camp for the Pigeon Timber
Company on the Little Pic River. Located about 2 miles west of Kallila Lake on the bank of the little Pic
River. Camp 72 as it was to be identified as, was home to some 20 Japanese-Canadian families between 1946 and
1948.
